He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hank Weigel, William Weigel, Ronnie Weigel and Ruth Mary Korslin. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Weigel and Jennifer Weigel; and his siblings, Marjory Morrison, Ellen Lanener, Arleigh LaBarge, Trixie Russell, Mike Weigel and John Weigel.
