Chester J. Maleski Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester J. Maleski of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 31, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Neoma "Omie" Coon; his granddaughter Brittany Saylor; his sisters, Marie and Mary C. S. S. of Georgia; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Maleski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Saylor (Jim "Chip") of Wisconsin Rapids and Theresa Pataky (Tom) of Mudelein, IL; his grandchildren, Brent Saylor of Blaine, MN, Joshua Pataky of State College, PA and Jessica Pataky of Mundelein, IL.; and his brother Ben Maleski of Wis. He is also survived by cats and dogs.
His Catholic faith was always a constant influence throughout his life and he never missed attending Mass until the 2020 Pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the South Wood County Humane Society or the retirement care for the Felician Sisters at the Mother of Good Counsel Convent in Chicago, IL in Chet's name.
