He is survived by: his mother Dorene Schmid Sr. (Kerburg); his daughters, Cassandra Schmid and Erica Huettl; his grandson Elliot; his father Robert Schmid Sr.; and his siblings, Eddy, Mike, John, Billy, Phillip, Bobby, Patty Schelvan, Nancy and George.
In lieu of memorials, the family asks that a small donation be made to the American Heart Association in his honor.
