Barbara M. Van Dyken Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2022, at the age of 74, Barbara M. Van Dyken of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara M. Van Dyken to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Urban Zimmer; her husband Bob; her half-brother Maurice; and her grandson Caleb. She is survived by: her mother Marie Zimmer (Doman); her children, Lisa Van Dyken of Waukesha, WI, Eric Van Dyken (Kim) of Shakopee, MN, Bret Van Dyken (Katie) of Plover, WI and Lori Van Dyken of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; her grandchildren, E. J., Kayla, Skylar and Harper; and her sister Mary Johnson (William) of Hawley, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Over the last few years, Barb crocheted over 1000 pairs of mittens that she donated to school aged children both locally and in Alaska; she also made several quilts that were used to raise funds to support missions and the Great Commission.
