She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Friebert and Ida Friebert; her husband Mihajlo Saramandich; her daughter Alexandra Gould (Alex); her siblings, Gertrude Reiner (Kurt), Charlotte Ahrens (Harold) and Karl-Heinz Friebert (Illse); her half-brothers, Alex and Helmuth; her stepmother Hildegard; her stepbrother Heinz; and her close friend Patricia Weinbauer.
She is survived by: her son Michael Saramandich (Carol); her grandchildren, Alexis Johnson (David) of Edgerton, WI and Nicholas Saramandich (Sherrie) of Hot Springs, AR; and her stepgrandsons, Andy Gould (Erica) of Sheboygan, WI and Eric Gould of Janesville, WI. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
