She was predeceased by: her parents, Nestor Hanninen and Selma Hanninen (Mattson); her children, Elwood Thompson, James Thompson and Carol Cozad; and her siblings, Charles Hanninen, Edwin Hanninen, Henry Hanninen, William Hanninen, James Hanninen, Theodore Hanninen and Anna Lunda.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Kay Klein (Helmuth Wrege) of Nekoosa, WI, John Thompson (Linda) of Iron River, WI and Harold Thompson (Shirley) of Grand Rapids, MN; and her daughters-in-law, Zola Thompson of Tamarack, MN and Helen Thompson of Plymouth, MN. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (63491 Vista Rd, Marengo, WI 54855). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
