He was predeceased by: his parents, Tennie Lien and Clara Lien (Solberg); his wife Margaret Ann Roseth of Butler; his son Jeffrey Lien; and his brother Thayer Lien.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Teresa), LilaMae Colburn (Barry) and Monica Carmin (Gene); his grandchildren, Michael, Heather, Chelsea, Jonathan and Preston'; his great grandchildren, Daniel and Anthony; his siblings, Harlan (Marion) of Sioux Falls, SD, Roger (Nina) of Sioux Falls, SD and Carol Lunde (Russ) of Mesa, AZ; and also Audrey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to the "Wounded Warrior Fund".
