He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie J. Perkins and Vera Perkins (Shead); his siblings, Duke Perkins and Pat Jones; and his sister-in-law Myrtle Borresson.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Louise Norwood; his son Russ Perkins of Winter, WI; his grandchildren, Shawn Perkins and Stacey Hopkins; his great grandchild Stella Perkins; and his siblings-in-law, Tom, Duane Norwood and Nancy Ferguson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
