She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rich and Dorothy Rich (Marsh); her husband Otto Melchert Jr.; and her daughter Katie Fonk. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Keating; her grandchildren, Carrie Diedrich (Mansbridge), Amanda Fonk and Daniel Fonk; her great grandchildren, Nyah Fonk, Katrina Fonk, Michael Stempel and Evan Fonk; her sister Mae Kinsley Udell (Lee); and her sister-in-law Nancy Melchert. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
