He is survived by: his children, Marsha Phillips of Neenah, Deborah Paalman (Richard) of Darboy, Melissa Makovec (Jeffrey) of North Carolina and Michael Winter of Appleton; his grandchildren, Clifford Phillips (Kyra), Zachary Phillips and Emily Makovec; his son-in-law Steve Phillips of Butte; and his nephew Robert Gleffe (Kendra).
