He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Benedict. He is survived by: his mother Darlyne Benedict; his brothers, Brad Benedict (Sandy) and Jeff Benedict (Emily); his nieces and nephews, Kristy McMillan (Aaron), Katie White (Tim), Sam and Will Benedict; and his friend Thomas "House" Houchens. He is also survived by seven great-nephews and one great-niece.
