He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Schmitt and Adeline Schmitt; and his sister Arlene Achterberg of Janesville. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Heffernan; his children, William (Angela) of West Bend and Julie Goodnature (Adam) of Johnson Creek; his grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter Schmitt; and his children, Skyler Scheinkoenig and Ava Goodnature. He is also survived by his family and friends.
