He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrenna "Jane" Hertzberg and Milton Hertzberg; his aunt June; his uncle Bud Swisher; his daughter-in-law Sandra Hertzberg; and his brother-in-law Rolland Strehlow.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine (Ruedinger); his children, Deborah Girtman (John), Gregory Hertzberg (Debora) and James Hertzberg (Linda); his grandchildren, Adam Girtman (Megan), Tyler Girtman (Ashley), Aimee Birkholz (Brian), Aaron Hertzberg (Amy), Matthew Hertzberg (Jennifer), Mark Hertzberg, Jessica Belt (Richard) and Emily Feistel (Alex); and his sister Loretta Strehlow. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home (904 E Main St, Winneconne, WI 54986). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
