She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Neels and Edna Neels (Brown); and her brother Arlyn Neels. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Petrie (Greg), Randy Niemuth, Cindy Krueger (Al) and Lori Ahern; her grandchildren, Chad (Erika), Becky (James), Mandie (Chad), Matthew (Linda), Wesley (Vanny), Stephanie (Steven) and Sadie; her great grandchildren, Bridget of Greg, II, Garrett, Koleton, Lucas, Mercedes, Dylan, Charlotte, Benjamin, Alex and Aldo; her great great grandchildren, Kaydence, Alex and Rylinn; her niece Jen Hayman (Al); her nephew Jason Neels; and her close friend Joan. She is also survived by several brothers/sisters-in-law.
Due to COVID, a private funeral will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, at St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8 South 4th Street Winneconne, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nelda's name would be appreciated for St. Pauls' Ev. Lutheran Church.
