She was predeceased by: her mother Phyllis Matulle; her stepmother Donna Matulle; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Ruth Herbst; and her brother Ken Matulle.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Herbst; her children, Kayla Taylor (Scott), Amy Wolf (Justin) and Ryan Herbst (Laura); her grandsons, Leo, Clayton, Everett Wolf, Sam and Bennett Herbst; her siblings, Darlene Brandt, Jeri Perschbacher (Mike), Wayne Matulle and Mike Shea (Leisa); and her father Marv Matulle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Alzheimer's/Dementia research.
