We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2024, at the age of 86, Mae Opal (Buchanan) Helmer (Winneconne, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Buchanan and Irene E. Buchanan (Parks); her sister Merry; her brother-in-law Ronald Koerner; her brothers, Warren Buchanan and Charles R. Buchanan II; her former husband Robert L. Helmer; and also James L. Helmer.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy J. Skifstad of Mae's Magnets, Kerrilyn S. Rodriguez, Robert J. Helmer and Kenneth L. Helmer (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Cindy Kramlich Helmer; her brothers, Carl Buchanan Sr. (Joanne Hoaglum), Clark Buchanan Sr. (Carla), Richard Buchanan, Roland Buchanan and Kirk Buchanan (Kimberly); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Buchanan and Tammy Buchanan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
