He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Wenzel and Sophia Wenzel (Tikalsky); and his siblings, Wallace, Benjamin, Allan, Donald, Mary Ann and Geneva.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Maloney (Sherwood); his children, Melanie Gorges (Gary), Daniel Wenzel (Kimberly), Benjamin Wenzel and Pamela Verstoppen (Steven); his grandchildren, Evelyn Braun (Mitchell), Lillian Gorges, Logan, Quinn Wenzel, Josephine, Hazel Wenzel, Sonja, Korben and Roman Verstoppen; his siblings, Roselyn Vomberg, Harley Wenzel (Ann), Angie Koehler, Victor Wenzel (Greta) and Sidney Wenzel (Penny); and his godchildren, Mary Ellen Panzer, Vince Nettekoven, Cathy Vomberg, Mike Bangart and Mandy Baerenwald. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
