He is survived by: his wife Arlene Michels; his children, Michele Reiter (Jim) and Rob Michels (Sue); his grandchildren, Aaron Ness, Adam Ness (Natalie), Chelsi Barney (Matt), Melinda Kruse (Jeremy), Robert Michels Jr. and Colton Michels; his great grandchildren, Jazmyne Ness, Leighton Ness, Lochlan Ness, Robbie Kohler, Kyle Kruse, Aubrey Michels and Amelia Kruse; his brother Jerry Michels (Carla); and his parents-in-law, Dorothy Wentz, Ruth Bradley (Chuck), Lucille Weidemann, Leroy Peterson (Karilyn), Rick Peterson (Cindy), June Johnson (Robert) and Dave Krueger (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
