He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Zeinert and Mary Zeinert (Luebke); his former wife Mary Ann Paulson; his son Brian; his grandsons, Joshua Kunde, Noah Zeinert and Sawyer Zeinert; his siblings, Kenneth Zeinert and Audrey; and his brother-in-law John Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bain; his caregiver Dorothy Zeinert; his children, David Zeinert (Janet) of Oshkosh, Janet Kunde (John) of Oshkosh and Jeff Zeinert (Rita) of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Bailey Coe (T. J.), Jennifer Kaegi (Nate), Justin Kunde (Sami) and Jaclynn Kunde; his great grandchildren, Hadlee Kaegi and Trip Coe; his stepdaughter Cynthia Haskins (Thomas); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Zeinert, Diana Rasmussen (Neil), Charles Paulson (Susan), Richard Paulson (Ann) and Edward Paulson (Sally). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
