With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David M. Long (Winneconne, Wisconsin), born in Greenport, New York, who passed away on May 10, 2019 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Long and Winifred G. Long; and his brother George Long. He is survived by: his wife Georgette; his son Rob (Lacey); his grandchildren, Riley, Grace, Jaxson and Olivia; his daughter Danielle (Kurt); his grandchildren, Brynn and Wesson; and his pet Jake.

“Dave was a great volunteer at Oshkosh Area Humane Society. He was always willing to haul and carry and move stuff for us/me. I do a lot of public speaking for the shelter and used this picture of him in one of my power point presentations. It is one of my all time favorite volunteer pictures. He sure loved his dogs, especially Jake. He was a wonderful man and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to have known him and work with him at OAHS. God Bless. Cheryl Rosenthal OAHS Edu.
