He is survived by: his wife Paula Twomey; his children, Ken Markert (Pam), Darren Markert (Kim), Michelle Laeyendecker (John) and Eric Markert; his grandchildren, Sam Markert (Jason), Kendall Markert, Mitchell Markert, Zakary Markert, Sabrina Markert, Nathan Laeyendecker (Dessiree) and Adam Laeyendecker; his siblings, Bob Markert, Carol Markert (Mary Jo), Phil Markert (Candy), Steve Twomey (Debbie), Kaye Twomey, David Twomey and Connie Daul; and his nieces and nephews, Kayla, Jason (Gina), Holly (Billy), Mike, Betsy, Lexis (Austin), Luke, Adam (Natosha) and Kurt (Courtney).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Larsen/Winchester Lions Club in Dan's name.
