He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Bohner and Mildred Bohner (Bourne); his siblings, Fredrick "Bud" Bohner and Mary Muckey; and his pets, Jud and Rusty.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Bohner; his daughter Rev. Barbara Sanson; and his stepchildren, Cheryl Marx (Randy) and Steven Zeinert (Laura). He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
