He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Ripp and Elizabeth Ripp (Grosse); his siblings, Rollie Esser and Margaret Esser; his siblings-in-law, Margie Ripp, David Cavanaugh and Jim Finger; his mother-in-law Betty Young; and his friend Derald Stronach.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Cailin Fournier (Chris) and Megan Wetzel (Jon Bucholtz); his daughter Barbara Ridgeman (Beth); his grandchildren, Sam, Deacon, Ella, Harper, Savanna and Tyler; his siblings, Joan Cavanaugh, Eileen Statz (Herb), Mary Finger, Bill Radue (Carol) and Helen Radue (Dennis); his close friends, Julie and Bob Goodhue; and also, Ron Haase (Nona) and Pat Huebel (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
