He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Tuma and Rose Tuma (Kranz); and his brother Gregory (ReaderGoogle TranslateHatenaInstapaperJumptagsKaboodlelinkaGoGoLiveJournalmail). He is survived by: his wife Louise Rose Tuma (Kohout); his children, Jennifer Theriault (Glenn), Joseph Tuma and Christine Strong (Michael); his grandchildren, Collin and Katherine Theriault; his children, Tyler Tuma, Madison, Emma, Olivia and Mason Strong; and his siblings-in-law, Therese Amel (Ronald) and Patrick Kohout (Carmen Cross).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to: Open Arms Free Clinic, St. Benedict Church, or Arbor Day Foundation.
