He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frane and Marjorie Frane (Young). He is survived by: his wife Lynne Seefeld; his children, Matthew Frane (Kirsten) and Sarah Hanson (Brian); his grandchildren, Brevyn Hanson, Nolan Frane, Landyn Hanson, Myah Frane and Ashlyn Hanson; his siblings, Marie Auner (Daniel), Patty Schultz (Bill), Greg Frane (Char) and Larry Frane (Ronda); and his uncle Louis Young (Joanie). He is also survived by one brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
