He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Trunkel and Sophie Trunkel; his sister Judith Andreason; his son James Trunkel; and his parents-in-law, Thurman, Martha Craig, Linda Waldburger, David, Deborah Krultz and Richard Hyland.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah L. Craig; his children, Candace Stroschein (Jason) of Altoona, Ashley Volovsek (Keith) of Neillsville and John J. Trunkel (Michaela) of Greenwood; and his grandsons, Treyton, Tristan Stroschein of Altoona, Andrew Volovsek of Neillsville, Aubin Clark and James J. Trunkel of Greenwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jack's name can be directed to St. Anthony's Catholic School in Loyal.
