It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Therese Simonson (Wild Rose, Wisconsin), born in Kingston, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Leslie Simonson of Mt Morris, WI; her children, Timothy Dale Simonson (Lori) of Markesan, WI, Philip George Simonson (Susan) of Minneapolis, MN, Ruth Ann Dethart (Ronald) of Sparta, WI and Erik Simonson (Darren) of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Leigh Anne Brumley (Mike) of Evansville, WI, Casey George Simonson (Merisa) of Otsego, MN, Zachery Dale Simonson of Philadelphia, PA, Courtney Michelle Simonson of Tampa, FL, Erik Dale Dethart of Onalaska, WI, Veronika Ann Dethart of Madison, WI and David Kyle Dethart of Sparta, WI; her great grandchild Andi Rae Simonson; her sisters, Roxanne Buchannan (Steve) of DeForest, WI and Maureen Preuss (Glover) of McFarland, WI; and her siblings-in-law, Boyd Simonson of Waupaca, WI, Zona Leitch (Bryon) of Sheboygan, WI, Ingrid Corlette of Oshkosh, WI and Donna Freitag Glover of Montello, WI. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Sharon's name.
