He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Moder and Emma Moder (Weimer); and his brother-in-law Jim Mahlberg. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Moder; and his siblings, Mike Moder (Barb), Carol Mahlberg and Kathy Moder (Chris). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
