He was predeceased by: his parents, Camillus Hofmaier and Clara Hofmaier (Leader); his great grandchild Bea Grace Ludtke; his brothers, Francis Hofmaier (Shirley), Darrell Hofmaier and Merle Hofmaier; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Grady, Glenn Broker and Ralph Stoffel.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Hofmaier of Wild Rose, WI; his children, Janice Hofmaier of Milwaukee, WI, Michael Hofmaier (Goldie) of Palm City, FL and Kay; his grandchildren, Yalanda Ludtke (Jason) of Milwaukee, WI and Keenya Hofmaier of London; his sisters, Marvel Grady-Broker of Hartford, WI, Donna Stoffel of Cedarburg, WI, Joanne Machacek (Edward) of Seymour, WI and Charlene Moitke (Robert) of Grafton, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Charlene Hofmaier of Hartford, WI and Esther Hofmaier of Allenton, WI.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
