He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurel Thompson and Verna Thompson (Guest); his sisters, Donna Schultz and Debbie Johnson; his parents-in-law, Carl and Loyola Suehs; his brother-in-law Jim Suehs; and his sons-in-law, John Wilkinson, David O'Cull and Jim Finch.
He is survived by: his brother Marines; his wife Diane; his daughters, Becky Webie of Iola, Tammy Wilkinson (Joe Struck) of Wild Rose and Wendy Thompson of Onalaska; the mother of his children Charlotte Thompson of Wild Rose; his stepson Michael Thompson (Lynn Teall) of Marion; his sister Dixie Burnard of Stoughton; his grandchildren, Haeleigh Wilkinson, Jacob Webie and Austin Webie; his stepgrandson Dillon Smith; his brothers, Jeff Suehs, Jerry (Jane Suehs) and John (Teri Rae Suehs); and his pets, Ava, Tatum and Zues. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Dennis Thompson name.
