It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Bauer of Whitewater, Wisconsin, born in Park Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joe may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Bristol (Tim) and Bobbie Jo Bauer; his grandsons, Nathan Coy (Dalton) and Jason Coy; his siblings, Ray Emond (Darla), Mike Duffy (Sue), Delores Peterson and John Topdahl (Carol); his friend Mike Kachel; and also Joe.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and making wooden picture frames, which he would donate to the local nursing home and hospital.
