With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Leroy Davis of Whitewater, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Davis and Grace Davis (Jamison); and his daughter Stephanie Luengen. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Girtz (Sue) of McHenry, IL and Melissa Burmeister of Indiana; his grandchildren, Trisha Davis, Samantha Severin (Brad), Julia Girtz and Nicholas Burmeister; and his great grandchild Miles Severin.

Memorials may be made to the Stephanie Luengen Foundation.
