Helen R. Delaney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen R. Delaney of Whitewater, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henderson C. Hamby and Bertha J. Hamby (Skaggs); her husband Laurence Delaney; her sons, Larry Smith and Duane Smith; her brothers, Robert and Earnest Hamby; and her great grandchild Lydia Blumenberg.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Smith of Rio, WI, Steve Smith (late Gail) of Sun Prairie, WI and Deborah Blumenberg (Gordy) of Lake Mills, WI; her stepchildren, Sandy Delaney of Greenfield, WI, Barbara Bigler (John) of Lake Geneva, WI and Steve Delaney (James Oranga); and her brother Frank Hamby (late Phyllis). She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dunlap Memorial (604 S Main St, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
