Bermes of Whitewater, Wisconsin, born in Plano, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 105, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Bermes (Shorty) of Naperville, IL.; her parents, Anthony Jonekes and Verna Jonekes; and her siblings, Charles and Margaret.
She is survived by: her son Gary Bermes (Sheryl); her grandchildren, Nicole Austin (Steve), Tony Bermes (Maritza) and Nellie Knox (Steve); her great grandchildren, Cailyn Austin, Emily Austin, Abi Austin, Jacob Bermes, Jayla Bermes, Jordan Thompson (Layla), Evan Thompson, Lily Thompson, Ella Thompson, Lauren Knox and Ian Knox; and her niece Jane Colby.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dunlap Memorial (604 S Main St, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538).
Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers or gifts.
