She was predeceased by: her parents, Berthel Olsen and Laura Olsen (Green); her son Michael; her husband William Gatz; her sisters, Joan Hashimi and Carol Frost; and her granddaughter Marie Gatz.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Gatz of San Diego, CA, William Gatz (Sarah) of Madison, WI and Christian Gatz (Penny) of Reedsport, OR; and her grandchildren, Michelle Hammer (Kevin) of Madison, WI, Austin Gatz of Boise, ID and Amanda Holden (Konnor) of Portland, OR.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
