She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Ostrem and Agnes Ostrem (Thompson); her husband Curtis Smith; and her siblings, Curtis, Kenneth, Gordon, Keith, Arden, Hazel, Inez, Opal, Beatrice, Olene and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Sauerwein (Bob) of Whitehall and Jeff Smith (Karin) of Shirland; her grandchildren, Tiffany Theisen (Rich), Jessica Smith, Bethany Ehrat (Tim), Jordana DeJaynes (Matt), Ashley Hawkins, Curtis Smith (Megan) and Bailey Sauerwein; her great grandchildren, Jonathen, Willow, Rhiana, Skylar, Beren, Harlow, Corbin and Orsen; and her sister Anna Monahan of Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
