He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas M. Thompson and Gladys Thompson (Lane); his wife Deborah "Debbie" Hovland (Schleusner); and his parents-in-law, Melvin and Ellen Schleusner.
He is survived by: his former wife Sheila Schiefelbein; his daughters, Beverly Blaylock (Bruce) of Morton, IL, Anita Thompson of Altoona, WI and Mary Dubiel (Gene) of Cable, WI; his grandchildren, Rachel Rendleman (Ryan) of Lafayette, IN and Colin Wincse of Altoona, WI; and his brothers, Larry Thompson of Nelson and David Thompson of Nelson. He is also survived by one niece, many cousins and friends.
