He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Joanne "Honey", Ben Rager, Zoe, Roger Janis and Tom Hauck; his siblings, Betty (Tom Rounsley), Kathy (Greg Bobik), Jeff (Mendy Shaffer), Greg (Sue Shaffer), Roger (Ann Shaffer) and Donna Shaffer; his children, Joe Shaffer III, Cheri (Erickson), Kimberly Winker, Christine, Mark Vicary, Robert, Kelli (Henke), Michelle and Eric Herman; his grandchildren, Brittney, Brady, Catherine, Courtney, Sarah, Jake, Samantha, Alyssa, Luke, Addison, Emma, Bailey, Allison, Abbigayle and Avvia; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Ryan, Everett and Walker. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
