He was predeceased by: his parent Tilford Qualley; and his brother Gaylord. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Qualley (Nordby) of Whitehall; his daughter Kayla Harrington (Ed) of Blair; his sisters, Anna Tiffany (Todd) of Whitehall and Patty Johnson (Gary) of Altoona; and his close friend Linda Stendahl.
