He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigvart Finstad and Esther Finstad (Lewis). He is survived by: his wife Carol Finstad (Kampa) of Whitehall, WI; his children, Cherie Dugan (Darren), Christine Halvorsen (Jeff Leu) of Minneapolis, MN, Candace Lane of Maple Grove, MN and Cory Finstad (Shannon) of Waumandee, WI; his grandchildren, Miranda Halvorsen, Wyatt, Austin Finstad, Whitney Neimi (Darrin) and Taylor Iverson (Hunter); his siblings, Marie Beede of Oshkosh, WI and John Finstad of Oregon, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Vosburg, Janice Thoma and Janet Kampa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be designated to the Pigeon Creek Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Pigeon Falls, WI. (Peace Garden).
