She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Carlson and Beulah Carlson (Bradt); her husband Charles Johnson; her mother-in-law Anna Johnson; and her siblings, Barbara Fossen, Lucille Miller, Esther Ford, Betty Peterson, Curtis, John and Lyle Carlson.
She is survived by: her sons, Kurt Johnson (Barbara) of Whitehall and Tom Johnson (Barb) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Sara Stephenson (Aaron) of Madison, Brian Johnson (Tammy) of Shoreview, MN, Matt Johnson (Molly) of Stillwater, MN and Sam Johnson (Jenna Kitchell) of Madison; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Eliza Stephenson, Riley Johnson, Charlie and Benny Johnson; and her siblings, Blanche Smith and Ronald Carlson (Margaret). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church or the Gundersen Tri-County Foundation.
