He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rusk; his daughters, Paula Powell (John), Lori Berg (Jeff) and Linda Ellifson (Ted); his grandchildren, Megan Nelson (Paul), Abby Heller (James), Cody Bautch, Nick Powell, Kenny Berg (Brandi), Kevin Berg (Jessica), Allison Engen and Bradey Engen (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Lily, Perry, Henry, Wyatt, Ila, Nora and Lena; and his sister Beverly Waldera (Richard).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the American Lung.
