She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Garcia and Roseann Garcia; her daughter Amy Boyle; and her sisters, Carmen Sauer and Patricia Miller.

She is survived by: her daughter Maggie; her close friend Keith Frauen; her children, Jon Engeleiter, Polly Gruszynski (Bill), Peter Engeleiter, Libby Burns (DJ), Kurt Engeleiter (Marty) and Patrick Engeleiter (Julie); and her siblings, Lenora Glover (Gerald) and Peter Garcia (Ardyce). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Donations in Maggie's memory can be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
