She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl and Linda; her husband Robert; her son Steven Robert Kassela; and her siblings, Judith Lutter, Karl Jessen, Jr. and Margret Gehrke.

She is survived by: her sons, James Kassela (Catherine) of Anchorage, AK and Michael (Julie) of Ham Lake, MN; her grandchildren, Corey, Brandon, Dylan and Sophia; and her great grandchildren, Colton Matthew Kassela and Brayden James Kassela.
