He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Prahl and Ethel Prahl (Cady); his daughter Kathleen; his sisters, Norma Drobnick and Geraldine Hecht; and his siblings-in-law, George Vogel, Louis Drobnick, Joseph Hecht, Nathan Gilbertson, Duane Gilbertson, Nancy Prahl, Janet Kriese and Elaine Hofacker.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gilbertson; his sons, Terrence Prahl (Jean) of Madison, WI, Michael Prahl (Laurie) of Cornell, WI and Robert Prahl (Liane) of Fremont, WI; his grandson Jason Prahl (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Ava and Brennan of Boyd, WI; his grandson Jeremy Prahl (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Nolan of Hudson, WI; his grandchildren, Eric Prahl (Chantal Forthun) of Cloverdale, CA, Lili Prahl of Santa Barbara, CA, Garrett Prahl (Samantha) of Brooklyn Park, MN and Allison Prahl (David Olson) of Green Bay, WI; and his siblings, Carol Vogel of Barefoot Bay, FL, Bonnie Schoenick (Keith) of Leesburg, FL, Dennis Prahl of Appleton, WI and Merrold Prahl (Mary) of Waupaca, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
