He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Swinton and Esther Swinton (Geer); his sister Ila Timm; and his grandson James Swinton. He is survived by: his wife Carol White; his children, Robert Swinton, Wade Swinton (Rene), Glenn Swinton (Maria) and Mishelle Bowen (Khris); and his brother Don Swinton (Barbara). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
