He is survived by: his wife Carol Plachetka (Zimmerman); his children, Kimberly Schulenburg (Kevin), Michael Plachetka, Nicole Plachetka Mclvor (Darren) and Brian Plachetka; his grandchildren, Eric Schulenburg, Katy Anderson (Ben), Andrew Schulenburg, Cody Plachetka, Braedan and Mason Mclvor; his great grandchild Emma Anderson; his brother Paul Plachetka (Janice); his sister-in-law Stella Plachetka; and his sister Helen Miller (Ed). He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
