She was predeceased by: her parents, John Genske and Blanche Genske (Lambrecht); her spouse Russell Buchholz; her brothers, John, William and Louis Genske; and her grandson Eric Buchholz.
She is survived by: her children, James Buchholz (Esther), Brian Buchholz (Judy), Susan Borchardt (Rory), Sally Buchholz and Bill Buchholz (Barb); her grandchildren, Andy Buchholz (Sara), Matthew Buchholz, Michael Buchholz (Jennifer), Wendy Schlomann (Ross), Tyler Buchholz (Meghan) and Sarah Northcutt (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Hailey, Aaron, Pella Buchholz and Rorey Schlomann; and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Buchholz and Joyce Genske. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
