She was predeceased by: her son Ryan Kurth; her mother Zola Vera Ostergard; and her brother William Granvel Ostergard (James W. Kurth Sr.). She is survived by: her father Edward T. Ostergard; her husband James William Kurth Sr.; her son James William Kurth Jr. (Katy); her grandchildren, Madison and Bry; her sons, Carl Kurth and Keith Kurth (Mindi); her grandchildren, Brooklynn and Kail; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Morris; her grandchild-in-law Lorelai; and her siblings, Richard Ostergard (Kim), Peggy Coffey (Patrick) and Andrea Banning (Mark).
