She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles R. Schwanz and Leone V. Schwanz (Manteufel); her husband Merton Russell; her daughter Laura Hoffman (Dan); her grandchildren, Amanda Wirsbinski (Nick) and Ben Hoffman (Amber); her son Dan Russell (Gail); her grandchildren, Danielle Gilson, Lacey Deitelhoff (Kay) and Bethany Russell; her great grandchildren, Madalyn Hoffman, Fynnlei Layborn, Peytenn Hoffman, Shae and Logan Gilson; her nephew Bob Williams; and her siblings, Chuck Schwanz, Raymond "Red" Schwanz (Leona) and Shirley Williams (Ken). She was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moundville United Methodist Church.
